Under the strong support of Guangzhou City Government, Guangdong Vsionsky Information Science and Technology Limited established Guangzhou Software Outsourcing Talent Cultivation Center in April 2008. By integrating Visionsky’s years of experience and resources in cultivating outsourcing talents for financial information service, and by taking advantage of educational resources and human resources of high-education institutes in Guangzhou city, we aim to build the center into a talent training platform that will benefit the whole outsourcing industry in Guangzhou. By combining application market of enterprises and educational resources of colleges, we bring rich IT practical experience accumulated by enterprises and their successful cases into classroom, hence effectively reducing the ‘knowledge gap’ between what university graduates learn in school and what the enterprises out there demand.  Through the platform, we can enhance the students’ working capability, promote employment of university graduates, relieve employment pressure faced by newly graduates to a extent, improve the situation of insufficient human resources for software enterprises effectively, and reduce the training periods for the newly-hired in a enterprise.  Therefore, our training is conducive to improve an enterprise’ market competitiveness.

 

After two years of development, we have put in place a software outsourcing talent cultivation system in the center, providing courses on three major technologies including Java, .Net, and Business Intelligence.  We brought in a world-popular project management system to facilitate implementation of project practical training.  At the same time we opened a systematic employment support class to provide job application assistance for member students. Currently, we have established cooperative relationships between the center and six high-education institutions in Guangzhou, among them three key undergraduate universities, one regular undergraduate university, and two excellent tertiary institutes.  We have established training bases and high-level simulation practical training platforms in each school. To guarantee education quality, we have built a team of teachers, most of whom are front-line technology elites in enterprises. Among the teachers are 11 instructors on technology, 5 instructors on management, and 3 staffs of assistant teachers or full-time administration personnel.  Up to now, we have independently developed 15 training text books and lecture materials for the center, and have successfully completed six sessions of training classes.

 

In the future, the training center will continue to work with high-education institutes, to seek more effective training systems and training models for cultivating outsourcing talents, making our contribution to constructing Guangzhou city into a model city of outsourcing service in China.
